We offer a service that allows you to bring your dog on holiday with you even if your cottage doesn’t allow pets to stay!
Your dog can stay with us in the day or evening and you can arrange a convenient time to collect if you wish to take your dog exploring the Peak District. If you are doing something that isn’t suitable for dogs, we can take care of them here in the day too. Please ask for a price.

Plus, our state-of-the-art cleaning protocols ensure a clean and hygienic environment.

We have spacious indoor and outdoor play areas, comfortable sleeping quarters, and a variety of toys and activities to keep your dog stimulated and entertained. Plus, our state-of-the-art cleaning protocols ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
Saying goodbye is never easy, which is why we provide daily updates to bridge the distance. Through photos, videos, and messages, witness your dog's adventure, including their nature play sessions, and see the happiness they radiate.

Our Trial Package Offer
At The Peak Dog Retreat, we want to make sure that the transition from your home to ours is as smooth and stress free as possible for your dog
Why do we do this :
- Familiarity for your dog
- Reduce anxiety when separated from owners
- Your dog gets to explore our house and garden in their own time, get to know us and get used to different smells and family routine.
- We usually take them for a dog walk locally to see how they are out and about. We have fun with them with lots of dog enrichment and playing.
- We see where they like to sleep. We get to know their character and preferences, and they learn to feel safe and trust us.
- We aim to keep trial assessments a positive experience so that your dog knows you are coming back for them after their home from home dog boarding experience with us.
- It is a dry run for how they will cope without you and in our home dog boarding environment.
- You MUST be available to collect them early if we assess that they are not coping and need to go home.
- Your dog's welfare is our top priority
.With this is mind we have come up with a trial package offer that aims to get your dog familiar with us so that when they come on their holiday there is no anxiety about leaving you.
What's included in the Offer:
- 1 x Meet and Greet (30 minute sessions in our secure play paddock)
- 4hrs day care (2.00pm-6.00pm)
- 1 overnight stay * check in / check out times apply
Total cost for one dog £55.00 (additional price per additional dog £25.00)
